TAISABAKI WAZA (body movement techniques)

Taisabaki waza is often translated as body movement technique, but actually means body control techniques (tai=body, sabaki=control).

4. Kokutsu dachi+180° backwards

Kokutsu dachi+ taisabaki 180° backwards
is the movement we use when releasing against, for example, attacks by grabbing clothes and head-butt.

• Move away from the attack (line of attack, seichusen) by moving your left leg diagonally back (to Kokutsu dachi).

• Turn 180° to the right. Work on your hip rotation!
