The Budo etiquette, the dojo rules themselves, are there to create a good training environment and to be able to show
consideration and respect for each other during training. It is also necessary to increase our concentration and to prevent injuries. In addition, training is facilitated in a perhaps already crowded dojo.
To Bow:
The training begins with a greeting and ends with a farewell. Greeting is done by bowing.
You also bow when you enter or leave the dojo. The same applies when entering or
leaving the tatami (the mat). You also bow to your partner before and after training.

When saluting standing, tachi rei, the arms hang along the sides and one stands in the musubi dachi stance. The bowing has
no religious reason, but is a way of showing mutual respect.
